About The Alleyz

The Alleyz (הסמטאות) are a four-piece psychedelic/classic rock band formed in 2021. The band began by performing covers inspired by iconic artists of the 1960s and 1970s, shaping their sound through the spirit of classic rock.

In their early twenties, the members transitioned into creating original material, writing and composing together in rehearsal rooms across Tel Aviv, as well as remotely through phone calls and shared recordings when meeting in person wasn't possible.

On January 19, 2023, The Alleyz released their debut single, "Mercy Me" which received airplay on several local radio stations, including Kan 88 and Kan Gimel, and was featured on Apple Music's New Music Daily (NMD) playlist.

In May 2024, the band released their self-titled debut album, "The Alleyz” a full-length collection of songs written throughout their formative years.

Since then, The Alleyz have been performing regularly in Tel Aviv at venues such as HaOzen HaShlishit, Papaito, HaMeretz 2, and Levontin 7.

Meet the Band

Eyal Aviv

Eyal Aviv

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, hes been playing guitar since age 10. He is the band's lead guitarist, known for his fast, powerful, and sensitive style.

Roi Levi

Roi Levi

Tel Aviv based bass and double bass player with 15 years of experience. Plays bass with The Alleyz and other projects. Grooving high and setting the tone.

Jonathan Shimonov

Jonathan Shimonov

Born and raised in Tel Aviv in a music loving family. He started singing as long as he can remember and never stopped. At 15, he began writing and performing in small groups. Then came The Alleyz - the rest is history.

Dror Diamant

Dror Diamant

Tel Aviv based drummer and saxophonist. Plays the drums for The Alleyz. Has a unique sound and feel.

Our first album "The Alleyz" is a collection of songs written from the very beginning of our formation as a band.

The album is inspired by moments from our early adulthood and life back home. It reflects the importance of music in our lives and expresses the desire to leave everything behind and start over without looking back.

The album is very diverse with feelings and emotions giving you a clear view of our lives.

Our influences come from legends like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd and many more.
