The Alleyz (הסמטאות) is a psychedelic/classic rock band consisting of four members. The band began its journey in 2021, initially performing covers of artists from the 1960s and 1970s.

During their diverse military service, they started developing their own original music. When they returned home, they would meet and compose together in rehearsal rooms in Tel Aviv, and even via phone calls and recordings when they couldn’t meet.

On January 19, 2023, the band released its debut single “Mercy Me”, which was aired on several local radio stations (including Kan 88 and Kan Gimel) and was also added to Apple Music’s NMD playlist.

In May 2024, The Alleyz released their first full-length album, “The Alleyz” a collection of songs created throughout that period.

Since then, the band has been performing in Tel Aviv at venues such as HaOzen HaShlishit, Papaito, HaMeretz 2 and Levontin 7.

Meet the Band

Eyal Aviv

Eyal Aviv

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, hes been playing guitar since age 10. He is the band's lead guitarist, known for his fast, powerful, and sensitive style.

Roi Levi

Roi Levi

Tel Aviv based bass and double bass player with 15 years of experience. Plays bass with The Alleyz and other projects. Grooving high and setting the tone.

Jonathan Shimonov

Jonathan Shimonov

Born and raised in Tel Aviv in a music loving family. He started singing as long as he can remember and never stopped. At 15, he began writing and performing in small groups. Then came The Alleyz - the rest is history.

Dror Diamant

Dror Diamant

Tel Aviv based drummer and saxophonist. Plays the drums for The Alleyz. Has a unique sound and feel.

Our first album "The Alleyz" is a collection of songs written from the very beginning of our formation as a band.

The album is inspired by moments from our military service and life back home. It reflects the importance of music in our lives and expresses the desire to leave everything behind and start over without looking back.

The album is very diverse with feeling and emotions giving you a clear view of our lives.

Our influences come from legends like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd and many more.
